Education

Education has been the a hallmark of the Presbyterian Tradition. That is true at Peace as well. We are determined to provide creative and lively learning opportunities for all age groups. That is why we call our Sunday morning education time: Lively Learning!

We take the needs of children seriously , so we have a certified child care provider. During the week this individual is co-director of a local preschool. Our nursery is spacious and well-equippped, designed with infants and toddlers in mind.

We have selected Bible Quest for our preschoolers so they can learn signigicant Bible stories in an age appropriate way.

Our elementary (K-5) children are thriving and growing in the Godly Play environment exploring sacred Bible stories, parables, and liturgical seasons in a worshipful setting. It is a creative way to learn the language of the Christian people. If you are familiar with Young Children and Worship - you wills see that Godly Play incorporates that.

Our Middle School Youth are in the Fast Lane, and engaging curriculum for the energetic, currently looking at Awesome God.

Our High School Youth are exploring their own sense of Discipleship using materials called, Discover Your Faith. The need of youth to question is respected as they relfect on and come to articulate what they believe.

Our Adults delve into Your Bible! The Study Begins, an overview course. In the past we have studied parables, prophets, the moral teachings of Jesus to give you an idea of the thrust of our adult education. Lively Learning is not just for children and youth.

Spiritual formation is important for all ages. Be on the growing edge!
