Biography of Rev. Deibert

The Reverend Elizabeth Deibert  is  the  Organizing  Pastor  for  the
Lakewood  Ranch  New Church Development.   She has a Masters  of  Divinity
from Columbia Theological Seminary and has served in richly divergent
contexts: in the suburbs of Montgomery  AL, where she and her husband,  Richard,
also a minister, were Organizing  Pastors   in  historic  Cambridge,  England,  where
she  organized  a  youth  program   and  in  rural  Faison,  N.C.,  where  she  has  been
interim  pastor.    Her  leadership  style  is  marked  by  collaboration,  loyalty,  and 
prayer.    " To  lead  well,  both  vision and process must be grounded in the Spirit
of Christ, who was boldly honest and generous to all, especially the powerless."
